Sunday, May 7th & May 21st, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Make your personalized decorative bottle. On the first day, students will learn slab construction. On the second day, they will experience Raku - the ancient technique that originated with the Samurai and the tea ceremony. You will select and apply one of ACA’s signature crackle, iridescent, or copper penny glazes. Using an outdoor kiln right before your eyes, you will witness the transformation and, in less than an hour, be handling your finished pieces.
