All artists are collectors, especially at the beach where driftwood formed and colored by sand, wind, water, and sun are transformed into flowers, figures, boats, birds, on and on, in our mind's eye. Learn about possible surface treatments, joining, and carving. Envision what might be possible with this free material.

Students should bring the driftwood stash they have in their garage to create, but some will be available.
