This is a make and take class. Use a lamp work oxygen/fuel stationary torch to create enameled copper shapes for jewelry, such as earrings, pendants, and bracelets. Several decorative techniques will be demonstrated and explored.
IMPORTANT: Students taking glass courses using a torch must wear natural fiber clothing (i.e., cotton shirt and denim jeans), closed toe shoes and hair tied back and out of the way. Loose clothing that will be in the way of the torch is strongly discouraged. Please wear clothing that you consider to be less than essential to your wardrobe. For personal safety and Covid 19 concerns, students are required to provide their own N95 NIOSH-approved particulate respirator mask, available at many hardware stores or online. All other materials included.
