Ties that Bind: Solace Cup

We have experienced rough times in the past couple years. It is easy to focus on the hardships we faced, but in this class you will create a piece that will offer solace. Students will make a cup that will greet them in the morning and share coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Using imagery that sustained you through the difficult time of the pandemic as inspiration, we will adorn our cups thus providing courage for whatever the world throws next. Pieces from this class will be invited to a greater community project, culminating with an exhibition in ACA’s Gallery in the summer of 2022. Bring your honey, friend, relative, etc., to experience this therapy in the form of usable art.
