Class details
When: Sunday, April11, 2021
Time: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Instructor: Jim and Amy Anderson
Youth Class - Ages 6-12
Description:
Birds are the most common form of wildlife we encounter on a regular basis. They live secret and fascinating lives that have long piqued our imaginations. This has rendered them as important symbols and subject matter utilized throughout art history. Students will create a hollow bird using pinch and coil methods, refine the surface, and then personalize with texture and glazes. The lesson integrates natural history with art. Students will be notified when their work will come out of the kiln to be picked up, not to exceed three weeks after the class.
