Torch Enameled Copper Jewelry

This is a make and take class. Use a torch to create enameled copper shapes for jewelry such as earrings, pendants, and bracelets. Several techniques will be explored, including simple cutouts, Sgraffito, color blending, wire fusing, plique-à-jour, glass bit decorations and silver foil. All materials included. Students taking glass courses using a torch must wear natural fiber clothing (i.e., cotton shirt and denim jeans), closed toe shoes and hair tied back and out of the way. Loose clothing that will be in the way of the torch is strongly discouraged. Please wear clothing that you consider to be less than essential to your wardrobe.
